This summer,  20 FFL Dallas and New Orleans ambassadors earned  “all expenses paid summer scholarships” as a result of their year-round participation in our after-school leadership program.  PFF's generous donation supports our mission to build hope, vision, and leadership skills through transformative travel experiences. 

1. 20 Ambassador scholars toured Chicago IL  

2. College visit included University of Chicago

3. Giordano’s 

4. Navy Pier

5. Sightseeing and Architecture Boat Tour of Chicago 

6. Evolve Network Community Outreach

7. The Paramount Group / Eden

8. Chicago Art Institute, Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, Chicago Cultural Center, Shopping, Dinner, and five days of fun-filled business and pleasure

9. Largest Starbucks

This summer,  21 FFL Dallas and New Orleans ambassadors earned  “all expenses paid summer scholarships” as a result of their year round participation in our after school  leadership program.  Our generous donor PFF believes in our mission to create hope, vision and leadership skills for positive life change through travel and new experiences!  

1. 21 Ambassador scholarships touring five cities (Little Rock, AR, Memphis, TN, Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA and Washington, D.C.)

2. We visited three colleges (Morehouse, Spelman Colleges & Howard University )

3. We toured one of the largest aquariums in the US, Georgia Aquarium 

4. We visited historic landmarks including Nonviolence Civil Rights/Social Justice and our Monumental Nations Capitol 

5. We toured 13 Museums 

6. We attended a Washington Nationals and San Francisco Giants baseball game as a team building activity 

7. We traveled via American Airlines Southwest Airlines Premier Transportation Services and experienced DC Metro local trains and buses! We stayed in Marriott hotels

8. We hosted seven summer camps

9. We served 300+ elementary- high school youth

And BONUS POINTS.

10. Our scholars are now more equipped with knowledge needed to positively impact their lives and community forever! 

11. We now have newly inspired first generation college students, an aspiring doctor, accountant and marine biologist.

This was one sizzling summer!

Program: Southern Methodist University  Onsite Dorm Move-in experience

Session #3 - DiscoverU21 Leadership Vision Tour

Program: Students will get to experience Chicago, IL

IMPORTANT: Dallas Scholarship Qualifiers must be past two (2) year participants of Dallas City of Learning and must maintain a 85% attendance average for FFL monthly Leadership meetings and special events.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP TOUR: Social Justice

YOUTH Ambassadors will gain a powerful vision experience away from their home community!  

1. Create economic and social awareness for young people
2. Help students develop vision and exposure to powerful history 
3. College and  career opportunities!
