Pride & Perspective
A DiscoverU21 Leadership Workshop - Three (3) hour instructor led
Focus: How you see the world shapes how you lead in it.
The Pride and Perspective Series is a three-part leadership workshop designed for young people ages 10 to 26 who are ready to examine the influences that shape their worldview and develop the emotional intelligence to lead with grace, confidence, and purpose. Through guided discussion, peer reflection, and real-world application, participants build the self-awareness and conflict navigation skills that define the next generation of community leaders.
Participants in this series develop:
- The ability to identify key personal influences that shape perspective and decision-making
- Strategies for navigating conflict with emotional intelligence and intention
- The courage to choose grace over ego in high-pressure situations
- A deeper understanding of how pride, both healthy and unchecked, affects leadership and relationships
- Communication skills that build trust and strengthen community
The Power of Perspective Exploring how personal experiences and relationships shape the way we see ourselves and others.
Pride and Perspective Examining the role pride plays in leadership, decision-making, and how we show up for the people around us.
Grace Over Ego Practicing the courage to lead with humility, resolve conflict with integrity, and choose growth over defensiveness.
Participants who complete all three sessions earn the DiscoverU21 Pride and Perspective Series digital badge, a verifiable credential they can share on LinkedIn, college applications, and professional profiles.
